Oriental University is one of the first private universities situated in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh state. Started in the year 2011, it is a UGC recognized university and approved by AICTE. The university has been accredited in the year 2010 by NAAC with grade ‘A’ where it secured CGPA 3.31 out of 4. NIRF rankings have recently released the university ranking and Oriental University has secured the 57 position among the Universities in the NIRF rankings 2023 in University ranking Category.

Oriental University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. It plays a vital role in determining the eligibility criteria for the candidates that require them to have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum marks of 45% to 60% varying with the program. Words: 30
2. For full-time BTech programs, the candidate must have a 10+2 level qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects. Certain concessions in the maximum aggregate percentage of marks for the SC/ST category. Words: 30
3. For BA/BSc/BCom programs, candidate must have passed Tenth+Two in any group from a recognized board. Reductions in the overall mark sum which is admissible for students coming from the reserved category. Words: 29
4. For MA/MSc/MCom programs admissions, the candidate should have passed graduation in the concerned subjects from a recognized university with minimum 40-50% aggregate marks as per the programme & category. Words: 30
5. For MBA program, candidates who possess a university degree are eligible to apply. Candidates are then pre-selected depending on the scores the obtained in the entrance examination. Prior working experience may be required. Words: 30
