Patliputra University is a state university situated in Patna, Bihar and is a relatively new university having been established in the year 2018. It is recognized by the Government of Bihar and is the only university to be approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The NAAC has accredited Patliputra University and granted it an A+ grade as well as the CGPA of 3.31. According to the NIRF Rankings 2023, Patliputra University was placed in the range of 101-150 in the entire list of universities in India.
The university defines a vast number of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certification courses in arts, science, commerce, law, education, journalism and mass communication etc. The Some of the most prominent courses are BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, MA, MSc, MCom, LLB, BEd, PG Diplomas etc The annual exams are likely to be held in March May every year. Patliputra University Courses Details 2024
1. The requirement for bachelor’s degree programme is that the student has to pass 12th class or equivalent exam from a recognized board with the minimum percentage as per the course. Dependent on the discipline, subjects require certain preconditions for undertaking continued education.
2. For postgraduate programs, the applicant must possess a qualifying bachelor degree in the relevant field with the minimum pass percentage as prescribed for the program.
3. For admission to MPhil & PhD programs, candidate must have post graduate degree in relevant subject with minimum percentage of marks. There could also be qualifiers on eligibility tests that may be necessary to meet before embarking on a particular course.
4. The candidates belonging SC/ST/OBC/SBC and/or differently-abled applicants may have the minimum eligibility criteria relaxed as per government rules.
5. Foreign students must provide all documents related to previous education certified by the official bodies. It is worth noting that the test consists of essential English proficiency scores.
