People’s University is an approved and recognised University based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh state of India. It has been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and it has scored a B ++ grade. According to NIRF ranking of 2023, People’s University has been placed at 151 among universities in India.

People's University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelor's Degree Programs
For admission, the candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in average. There may be additional requirements for some programs.
2. Master's Degree Programs
Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in the concerned specialization from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks. However, certain programs may contain additional parameters.
3. Diploma Programs
The eligibility standard for admission is the passed certificate of the 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized board. Some diploma programs may specify that the candidates must have prior work experience.
4. Certificate Programs
The minimum requirement in terms of academic background is 10+2 or higher secondary school certificate from any education board as per the course norms.
5. Doctoral Degree Programs
Minimum 55% aggregate marks in the respective postgraduate specialization is mandatory which must also clear the entrance test criterion set by the university.
6. Lateral Entry Programs
Students can apply directly for the 2nd year of some undergraduate programs. Requirements include having a diploma or be in 1st year of that discipline from a recognized institute.

People's University Placements 2024
People’s University has a functional placement cell that ensures that students get placed in different companies. The companies that actively recruit graduates from this field include Tata Consultancy services, Wipro , Infosys , Cognizant and Accenture. In the campus placement drive of 2022 session, more than 80 companies had participated and offered the job to the students belonging to different streams. The maximum salary offered in the placements was 180000/- per annum offered by American Express. The median pay scale was Rs 6.2 lakh per annum. More than 92% of the total students who appeared for the campus interviews got selected. Some of the major areas where students were offered placements are information technology, consulting, banking and financial services.
