People’s University Bhopal has different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered in management, engineering, sciences, humanities etc. For the admission eligibility varies from department to department and course to course. For BBA, candidates must have cleared 12th standard with minimum 50% aggregate marks. B.Tech programs namely Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, etc., admit through JEE Main, MP PET, and the candidate must have passed 12th Physics, Chemistry Math with 55% marks. Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology are few BSc programs that admit student based on MP PRE entrance test and require pass in 12th Science with 50% marks. University accepts last 12th language subjects and 50% Economics, History and BA in English Literature. All the above mentioned streams of MA programs admit Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and MP PET test. MBA has CAT/MAT scores, minimum Bachelor’s degree, and 50% marks requirement.
The university is committed to provide undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programs in Management, Engineering & Technology, Basic sciences, Humanities & Languages, Commerce, Law and Journalism & Mass Communication, Library Science & Education, Arts & Social Sciences faculties. Accepted National Level Entrance Exam are JEE Main for admission to engineering, GATE for admission to computer applications and all the management entrance exam namely CAT, MAT, CMAT. There are other programs which require State level MP PET and MP PRE tests. The admission process begins in the month of May every year through an online application form along with the scanned copies of documents. Written tests are conducted in June-July while the final merit based counseling takes place in August-September for giving Seats in different departments. The application deadline for the academic year 2024 is May 31, 2023.
Admission to the various courses offered in the university is done both online and offline in the Peoples University Bhopal.
In the case of online admission, the candidates must open the official website through www.puponline.com. On the home page, there is a bar labeled ‘Admissions 2023’, when clicked, select the course of your preference. Please complete the online application form and upload the scanned copies of documents such as photograph, signature, educational documents etc. Pay the application fee through credit/debit card, net banking, UPI etc. Take a print out of the acknowledgment slip containing the application number.
For offline admission, they have to get the application form either downloaded from the website or collected from the University campus. All required documents with self-attested photocopy of documents and application fee and the completed application form must be posted to the Admission Office or hand delivered.
