Prof. Rajendra Singh is a renowned Professor of PRSU University which is a state public university situated in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. PRSU was established in 2006 through an act passed by the Uttar Pradesh state legislature and is recognized under the University Grants Commission (UGC). Prithviraj university has got B++ grade from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) proving that the university has good standard. In the NIRF Rankings unveiled recently, PRSU has been ranked and placed at 101 among the universities in India.
The university provides all kinds of academic programs including undergraduate and postgraduate programs, diplomas and certification programs for learners in different disciplines including arts, science, commerce, law, education, journalism and management. Some of the popular programmes offered are the undergraduate programmes such as the BA, BSc, BCom, postgraduate programmes such as MA, MSc, MCom, BEd, LLB and the diplomas. The exams held by the university are semester exams which occurs in November/December and May/June respectively each year. For UG courses the admission is merit based on the qualification examination conducted by the University. While applying for PG courses, there are direct admissions or state/national level tests like UPSEE, CUCET etc Admission process initiates in the month of May and classes start in July/August. They are usually published on the school’s official website, and for the 2024 admission, the notification may likely be put out in April 2023.
PRSU has a functional placement cell which helps to provide placements to students from various reputed companies. The top recruiting companies in 2022 were Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Genpact, Tech Mahindra etc and the highest pay package was of Rs 6 lakhs per annum. Almost all the students – more than 500 students – found placements, which means that the placement percentage of the college is more than 85 percent. The maximum salary offered to the candidates was Rs 8 lakh per annum. Just like the placement scenario is expected to be good in 2023, the report also suggests that both volume recruiters, as well as targeted recruiters, are expected to participate actively.

Prof. Rajendra Singh University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized /Board/University with minimum percentage of marks as per the course. Usually, candidates who belong to the general category have to pay 50% of the fee.
2. For B.Tech programes candidate should have passed 10+2 with two main subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as optional subjects. Should have obtained minimum aggregate marks again to the category she belonged to.
3. For the admission to various programs like BA for BCom, the candidate must have completed their 10+2 in any stream Science, Commerce or Arts. Minimum aggregate percentage applies according to thecaste/tribe categories.
4. For MA, MSc, and MCom programs, the candidate should have completed the related bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, however, minimum percentage criteria should be fulfilled.
5. For admission to MTech and integrated programs, candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline and the qualification required for MTech is BTech and for integrated MSc course is BSc. Minimum criteria applies.
6. Students of reserved category like SC, ST, OBC, are allowed to get some sort of minimum percentage relaxation. There are also some privileges granted to the physical handicap category.

Prof. Rajendra Singh University is very high and the students are placed in reputed companies. Every year many big companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant, Accenture etc visit our campus for recruitment. The maximum salary given during the previous year was 18 lakh per annum by Microsoft. The scheme of pay package that most of the students received was approximately Rs. 60000 per month or Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. A total of 85% of the overall students who appeared for the placement drive got placed through the campus placements. This was followed by employment in engineering firms, manufacturing industries as well as in the financial sectors of the economy.
