Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya Memorial Ayush and Health Science University Raipur is one of the most popular universities which impart several courses in the field of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy and many more. The admission criteria are different for different course – for BAMS, the candidate must have passed 12th standard with at least 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. To be eligible for BHMS, one must have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, & Biology/Maths having minimum 50% marks. Minimum qualification for B.Pharm is 12th standard pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and 50% marks in aggregate. For GNM course, candidates should have passed 12th in any stream with minimum 40% of marks. The accepted exams are Chhattisgarhi Pre Medical Test (CgPMT) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Some other courses are BPT, BOT, BASLP and M.Sc Nursing having their own eligibility norms prescribed according to the regulation act.
It provides diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate level courses including faculties of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical sciences, and several others. Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya Memorial Ayush and Health Science University Raipur provides admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and Yoga & Naturopathy streams. The admission process can be done either online through the university website or offline.
For online application one has to go to the official website at ddaump.edu.in and then select the ‘Admission’ tab on the homepage. Choose a course of your preference, complete an application form and upload some necessary documents. Make the payments for the application fee online to process the application.
On offline mode, the candidate has to obtain the application form and the information brochure from the University campus by paying the prescribed fee. Complete the form, enclose copies of documents and submit the form along with the application fee at the administrative office on or before the cut-off date. The Administrative Officer shall acknowledge the application form submitted by the candidate.
