The entrance examination schedule for RGUKT Basar admission in the year 2024 has not been released yet, but it will be soon updated on the official website soon. The common entrance test, for admission into the RGUKT, is normally conducted in the month of May each year. As per the entrance exam, the students are shortlisted and after the documents check, they get admitted to the college. Some of the admission procedures include online application, for hall ticket issuance, an entrance exam, the release of merit list, counseling, and admission. The process of distributing the number of seats depends with merit, reservation policy, and the kind of stream that a student opts for.
The establishment Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Basar, Nirmal admission notification has been released for the 6 year integrated B.Tech programme. For the registration students can either fill the form online or can even download the form and submit it offline if they have passed their Class 10 examinations or if they are appearing.
Online application process:
Go through the official website of the university which is www.rgukt.ac.in and then select ‘Admissions’. The online application can be filled through the submission of certain details and documents in the application form. Application fee payment is also possible online.
Offline application process:
The applicant can download the application form from the official website or can also obtain it from specific centers. There is a form that has to be filled and copies of relevant documents are required. All the documents including the completed application and the application fee should be dropped off at any of the university centers or can be mailed before the deadline.

- The student is selected on the basis of the marks that they obtained in the board examination in the 10th class. For one to meet the requirement of the course, then he or she must have passed the exam with high percentage.

2. Once you are notified to check the status, access the admission page and review the requirements for eligibility. For the first level you must have done Class 10 from a recognized board. There is also criteria based social/economic status of the learners.
3. If you are eligible then you can register on this portal and they have an online application form which has to be filled before the last date mentioned. Here, you will be asked to give personal and academic information that is required in the course.
4. Scan and upload as per the instructions required documents – photo, signature, Class 10 Certificate and if required, the caste certificate, etc.
5. If there are application fees, then it is also advisable to pay them through the internet. It is possible to have an initial exemption for SC/ST students for certain fees.
6. Enclose the documents with the completed application and make a note of the registration number assigned. Keep a copy of the form for future use and reference.
7. Though it’s a government college, admissions are merit-based, and the students are selected based on the marks scored in their Class 10. When you are among the selected candidates, the school will invite you for counselling session and document confirmation.
8. If the student successfully fulfills the conditions of all the eligibility criteria, then he/she shall be provided with a seat. The next step was to receive documents and fees for admission at the campus assigned to them.
- The M.Tech programs offered in the RGUKT Nirmal include a few specializations, some of which are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

- It is an officer based intake that means the number of students to be admitted is very limited and this depends on their performance in the entrance examination and their previous academic performance. - In addition to entrance test, there is also a assessment of the aggregate marks obtained in B.Tech/B..E. The candidate must have secured minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST) in B.Tech for their admission into M.Tech.
- The final merit list is drawn from 75% weight of the entrance test and the remaining 25% weight is given to marks obtained in B.Tech/ B.E aggregate marks.
- The admission is based on merit score in the test+aggregate marks, however receiving the admission depends on the criteria of eligibility and reservation.
- If there are still open spaces in any of the specialization, then the admissions may still be done via counseling where they can do spot admissions depending on the qualifications of the student.
1. The university’s website (www.rguktn.ac.in) can be consulted in order to know the dates of the admissions notification which are usually announced in May/June every year.
2. On receiving the notification, one should go to the website of the concerned university and look for ‘Admissions’ or ‘M.Tech.’ Click on the ‘apply’ option on the home page leading you to the online application form.
3. The first step – sign up for the service and provide all the necessary information in the section called Application Form – personal information, academic achievements, etc.
4. Enter/Upload scanned images of photograph and signature as well as other documents required like the copies of mark sheets etc in the prescribed format.
5. They must also make an online payment of the application fee which is around rupees 500 for OC/BC category and 300 for SC/ST category.
6. After completing the application, the applicant should furnish the registration number that is given to them.
7. Just wait for the merit list to be put up at the website with the eligibility criteria set by the university.
8. If you are selected to be counseled thereafter please be present as per the scheduled time. Be physically present and bring all the original documents to be vetted by the verifying authority.
9. Take admission confirmation and complete admission process after depositing fee.
