Rama Devi Women’s University is in Bhubaneswar district in the state of Odisha in India. It is a State university that provides education to the women of the country, and empowering them as well. Rama Devi Women’s University has NAAC grade A rating and is approved under the University Grants Commission Act (UGC). As per the NIRF rankings of the year 2023, it stands at the 65th position among all the universities in India. 

University has a wide range of programs for its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses in almost all disciplines such as Arts, Science, Education, Law, Management, etc. Some of the courses offered by the University are, BA, BSc, BCA, BSW, MSW, MA, MSc, MCom, LLB, and PhD. They made plans to announce the admission for the batch 2024 in the month of May 2023. Even exams for courses such as MBA, MCA etc are also affiliated through certain agencies. 

The placement cell of Rama Devi Women’s University is very active to provide appropriate placement for students and internships to them. Many reputed IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank etc come for campus recruitment. The highest salary package in this batch offered for the year 2022 was 7 LPA and more than 300 students got placed in reputed companies. The overall placement status is around 75-80 percent among the entire batch of students.

Rama Devi Women’s University at Bhubaneswar has the provision of placement of students through the Placement Cell in the university. Many organizations such as Infosys, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Dell and Cognizant are the companies that visit the campus for recruitment. In the 2022-23 session, there was a placement rate of approximately 63% for eligible applicants, and the highest starting salary of 7 LPA was offered by Infosys. The median salary for the batch was 3.8 LPA in terms of the salary package being offered. Key recruiters were TCS which offered stepping stone to 21% of the placed students, Wipro which recruited 19% of the placed students and Infosys recruited 16% of the placed students.
