Some of the departments in arts are Odia, English, Economics and History, Home Science and others and the admission criteria is 10+2 pass in respective subjects with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate. The three-year B.A. program for the students of Economics, English, History, Odia, Philosophy, and Sanskrit of the University grants admission to the candidates who have passed +2 exams conducted by CHSE or any equivalent examination with at least 50% of the aggregate marks. The B.Sc. The Bachelor of Science programs offered in the subject of Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Home Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology admit students who have passed the +2 Science stream conducted by CHSE/CBSE/ICSE or any other equivalent exam with 50% aggregate. The candidate should have Master Degree and minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade of any recognized University and must have qualified in the Net/Set examination. For Commerce and Science departments, duration and qualification required to teach are an MPhil or Master’s degree in the relevant specialization with minimum 55% marks with NET/SET. The Education department requires Master’s degree in Education and NET or equivalent qualification is also acceptable.
