Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University (RKMVU) an autonomous university, with ‘C++’ NAAC rating is located at Deogaon, near Belur Math in Howrah district of West Bengal. It is renowned for its excellent academic programs based on the Advaita Vedanta philosophy espoused by Swami Vivekananda. RKMVU was ranked at the 39th position in NIRF Ranking 2023 for universities in India. RKMVU provides diploma, undergraduate, master and doctoral courses in various fields including engineering, science education, applied arts and language.
The university teaches more than ten traditional and new generation engineering programs like biomedical engineering, computer engineering, electronics and electrical communication engineering and much more. Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programmes, passed 10+2 examinations and a minimum of fifty percent marks desirable. Some of the examples of specific subjects might include varying depending with the program of study.
2. For postgraduate programs, only graduates are eligible with minimum 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree relevant to the applied field.
3. For Ph.D, postgraduate degree in relevant field is mandatory along with minimum marks aggregates of 55%. Qualifying exam also required.
4. For diploma and certification programs, minimum qualification is 10+2 academic qualification or equivalent qualification as needed.
