The Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University in Belur has given education in various fields of study including science, arts, commerce, engineering, education and etc. Some of the most sought after courses at this university are BSc Physics that offers admission on the basis of JEE Main scores, BA English that accepts scores of TANCET, BCom course that requires 50% marks in 12th boards, BTech Computer Science that grants admission on the basis of JEE Advanced scores, BEd that accepts scores of TET exam.
The university cover a broad area of coverage from science and arts, commerce, engineering and education. Some of the important exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, TANCET, TET generally hold the exam dates from the month of February to July 2024. There are certain requirements which include passing in the exam recognized by the university, filling up the form available online through the university web site and attending the counselling session as per the timetable. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Proof of identity such as Aadhaar card, PAN card or driving license for checking the accuracy of the inserted details of the candidate.
2. Document as proof that the candidate has passed their secondary level of education as a requirement to join an undergraduate programme, by attaching their Class 10 certificate and mark sheet.
3. Candidates are required to attach their class 12 certificate and mark sheet for the purpose of proving their eligibility to clear the higher secondary education which is essential for admission.
4. Transcripts which include the degree certificate and the consolidated mark sheet of candidates who have applied for postgraduate programs to substantiate that they have completed their bachelor’s degree.
5. District document for candidates from the reserved categories willing to apply under quota.
6. Documents containing records of academic performance, reputation and history such as transfer certificate, migration certificate and conduct certificate.

3. Online applications to be submitted along with documents to reach by the date mentioned for receipt of documents.
4. If selected for the shortlist, he/she has to write an entrance test conducted by the university.
5. The students are required to check the merit list available on the website for their selection status.
6. Secure admission by paying fees and follow all of the procedures to enroll for classes.

1. Obtain the application form from the university office, or use the online admission portal of the university to apply before the deadline.
2. There are basic prescribed grounds, which include passing of 12th examinations in respective stream with minimum marks as per the category.
3. They prepare merit lists of selected candidates divided according to their 12th marks along with the availability of seat quotas. Selected candidates are intimated.
4. Visit the counseling office at the appointed date and time with all the original documents and fees to complete the admission process.
5. If admission is given, then the rest of the admission procedures should also be over within the time frame provided. Proceed with the collection of ID card and other important documents that would be required.
6. Attend orientation program. Enroll in classes and handle semester registration procedures within the initial two weeks of the new semester.
