Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University known for its agricultural education provides Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree in various agricultural fields. Minimum requirement for B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, and Forestry courses is 12th passed in science section with 50% marks. For the BTech Food Technology & BTech Bioinformatics: Candidates must pass 12th standard for Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 50% marks. This course titled, BTech Dairy Technology, admits the 12th science stream learners. The various Master’s degree courses offered in Agriculture, horticulture, Forestry, Food Technology and Dairy Technology welcome students who have completed their BSc Agriculture, BSc Horticulture and other related fields of study with an average passing of 50% in their graduation. JOA accepts JEE Mains, state level, national level agriculture entrance examination or university level examination.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Identification Documents: For identification and to ensure that you qualify to take the tests, you need to provide a clear photocopy of your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or any other valid photo ID proof as prescribed by the Indian government.
2. 10th Standard Marksheet & Passing Certificate: Produce the mark sheet of tenth standard as well as the passing certificate for this qualifying examination.
3. 12th Standard Marksheet & Passing Certificate: In addition to the passing certificate, provide the 12th standard marksheet along with the list of subjects studied and marks secured in them.
4. Graduation Marksheets (All Years/Semesters): For master’s programme, submit the marksheets of all the semesters of the bachelor’s degree as proof of your academic credibility.
5. Graduation Degree Certificate: Upload your original/provisional bachelor’s degree certificate, clear your graduating year, required for postgraduate programs.
6. Migration Certificate: Needed from persons who have attended a different university other than RLBCAU to transfer their academic records.
1. Qualification – Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream and must have scored not less than 45% of the total marks recognized by any state or central education board.
2. Obtain application form – There are two ways of getting the forms, either by downloading from the university website or by getting it from the university office physically.
3. Application process - In this step, the candidate has to complete the application form with all the necessary information and enclose the necessary documents, affix the application fee and the application has to be submitted before the deadline.
4. Take exam – sit for the university’s entrance examination on the date set and pass with the least passing marks.
5. Counseling – Report to counseling session as per the timetable provided where photocopy of documents will be checked and the applicant assigned a seat as per the merit list, choice.
6. Admission – If seat matrix is allotted then students can do remaining admission formalities such as payment of admission fees in order to confirm the seat and get himself or herself registered.

1. Age criteria - Minimum age to apply for this post should be 18 years of age and maximum age should be 30 years for general candidates.
2. Online registration – The candidates who meet the above criteria and other eligibility conditions have to register online by visiting the university website where the online application form.
3. Fee payment – The candidate is required to pay the fees online through net banking or credit/debit card. Under unreserved category, the fees are Rs 1000.
4. Short list – By considering eligibility criteria, group, marks obtained by the applicants and the number of seats available, the university displays the short list of the applicant on the university website.
5. Documents Verification and Seat Allocation – The shortlisted candidates are admitted to counseling based on the merit list generated.
6. Admission – Candidates who have been allotted seat in the counseling session are required to pay the admission fees either online or through normal mode of banking within the specified period so as to secure the admission.
