Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has number of courses in Vedic and other streams like Veda, Vyakarana, Sahitya, Darshan, Jyotish etc. This will depend on the course being offered and the requirements that come with it. According to the eligibility criteria of Veda, the candidate should have cleared the class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognized board. According to Acharya, the students should possess a Shastri degree with at least fifty percent of the aggregates marks. For the Shiksha Shastri program, the candidates need to have completed their Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% marks. Regarding the admission procedure, it is important to note that the Praveshika course is available for Class 10 pass students. The University accepts other exams as and when required for admission to Acharya, Shastri, diploma as well as certificate courses such as UPSEE, CUCET, SET/SLET etc.
The University, has an average of 30 courses which are taught in different faculties of the University. Some of the programs that make up the Veda faculty at IIT Kharagpur are Acharya and Shastri program in Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda, Atharvaveda amongst others. The faculty of Sahitya offers Acharya in Sanskrit Literature, Drama, Poetry, Prosody, etc. The Vyakarana faculty deals with the responsibility of offering Grammar specialization in Acharya and Shastri courses. Likewise, it offers Philosophy, Astrology, and Education faculties containing courses. The admission criterion includes performance in UPSEE/SET/CUCET and the admission is granted strictly on merit under the Combined Merit List on the basis of marks obtained in the exam as well as the marks secured in the last qualifying examination. The UPSEE examination is usually scheduled in the April or May respectively while CUCET is conducted in the May or June every year. While the admission is a continuous process, it starts immediately after the results are released in June-July. Hence, the selected candidates can apply and fill up all the admission procedures as per the University intimation before the last date.

In online application procedure, candidates are required to complete a registration process in which they have to fill in some essential information. After registration candidate can login with the help of ID and password provided from system and can fill up the application form which contains all the details in the field of academic and personal details. Scan pieces of document and photographs also require to be uploaded. This fee can be paid through credit/debit card or through Net banking for the application.
For online application, the admission form is available on the website but for the offline process, the form must be downloaded. Completed application forms with photocopies of the documents and affixed passport photographs of the students have to be forwarded to the university office before the deadline. Application fee can be remitted through demand draft only drawn in favor of the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. Candidates also can choose to send the completed offline application form directly to the admission office of the university within the given time.
- To get admission into the two year B.ED program, the university normally conducts an entrance examination.
- Usually, the notification and application process begins in the months of April/May every year for the admission in the session beginning from July/August.

2. As soon as the notifications are out, one can download the B.Ed application form from the university website or can personally get it from university counters.

8. Final list of B.Ed admissions will be declared depending on the academic achievement and marks they have secured in the entrance test and interview.
9. Admission Acknowledge by completing any remaining admission related formalities within the stated date. Send all the documents and fees to secure the seat as agreed during the initial application.
