Sant Baba Bhag Singh University provides numerous UG and PG courses in science commerce arts computer application education. The admission criterion for most of the Bachelors degree courses is the pass in 12th class with minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent marks from a recognized board. For Engineering courses, JEE Main scores are considered while for law courses, the candidate has to qualify in CLAT, CAT scores are considered for management courses and GATE scores are considered for Engineering and Technology.

Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:

SBBSU Jalandhar B.Tech Admission 2024

1. Eligibility criteria - Candidates should have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent exam in Science with physics, chemistry and maths and should have secured at least 45% (40% for reserved category) in aggregate.

2. Online application – Apart from the printed and filled application form, the candidates have to apply online by accessing the university Website and remitting the application fee.

3. Entrance test – there is a test by the university at the different centers which the applicants must take. It assesses the IQ, logical reasoning, and the courses learnt in 10+2 levels. 

4. Merit list – fresh merit list of eligible candidates is prepared depending on the scores obtained in entrance exam and 10+2 marks with separate merit list for each category.  

5. Counseling – The candidates who made the shortlist are given an opportunity to attend counseling where they get to state their intended branch of study and pay for the admission fees.

6. Provisional admission - General or final admission to the course, after the documents of the candidate are verified and the candidate is declared eligible.

1. Scholastic achievement – Possession of a Master’s degree with not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade. The candidates in the final year of their courses can apply for the post as well.

2. The online application form has to be submitted by the candidate before the last date provided by the institution. Upload necessary documents.

3. Take the entrance test conducted by the University in case you meet the above requirements. 

4. If qualified, attend the interview stage organized by the University.

SBBSU Jalandhar M.Sc Admission 2024

1. Some of the things which one has to consider before applying in any M.Sc course includes a minimum percentage required in their bachelor’s degree, the entrance test they write for the M.Sc course of their choice. 

2. Submit the completed form either online or on paper on or before the stated last date with relevant documents and application fee included.

3. Sit any entrance tests such as PMET if the program for M.Sc requires the candidate to sit for the exam. 

4. The next step is to check merit lists when released in an organization to determine if given an invite for counseling.

5. The counselling session as per the date and time slot booked, produce documents, pay tuition fees and declare area of specialization. 

6. Take admission confirmation and go through all the admission related formalities if get a seat in counseling. In this process students are supposed to report to college on the scheduled date.

1. Eligibility criteria – As per the requirement the candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 50% from any recognised board.

2. Obtain application form – Application form can be downloaded either online from the university website or picked up personally at the university admission office.

3. Application form - Basic particulars, academic information, details of address and telephone numbers in the form. 

4. Documents – Enclose photocopies of 10th & 12th marks memos, certificates, ID proof.

5. The following papers must be provided: Admission form filled in and signed together with the admission fee at the office or online.

6. Verify name in merit list – Cross check name when university releases the names of the candidates in the provisional merit list. 

7. Complete admission, if not already admitted, do so within the time limit laid down by the institution.
