Sardar Beant Singh State University is a University in Gurdaspur, Punjab which was establish in the year 2015. The University is also affiliated to the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Punjab. NAAC has awarded the university the Grade A accreditation certification to mark their appreciation and recognition of the efforts the university has put in to foster quality education. When the NIRF Rankings 2023 were released, SBS State University was ranked 151 among the universities in India.

Sardar Beant Singh State University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination and the minimum marks required for the same varies with the programs offered. Usually, general category candidates need to get 50-60% marks for being able to make a mark with Marks requirement.
2. Undergraduate programs are available to all disciplines so the candidates from Science, Commerce, Arts stream those who have passed 10+2 can apply. It is advisable to determine if there are any subject prerequisites for the programs being applied for.
3. For postgraduate programs, the candidate must possess relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum percentage marks which can also differ according to the course.
