The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (SPA Delhi) has the programmes of B. Arch, B. Planning, M.Arch and M.Planning in various specializations in planning and architecture. The program available for Bachelors degree is Planning, Architecture, Design, and others, for this one needs to pass class 12th or equivalent examination for which the minimum passing percentage is between 50-60%. It involves qualifying marks in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) test. Offered postgraduate programmes include M.Plan in Urban Planning, Housing, Transport Planning among others, the candidates should possess a Bachelors degree in Planning or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% of the aggregate. The admission process is through the GATE or CAT scores depending on the program a candidate wishes to pursue. This institution offers Masters in Architecture program with areas of focus in conservation, landscape design among others, and it is essential to have a Bachelor of Architecture or any equivalent qualification with at least a 50% average score. For academic year 2024/2025, the admission for all programs is as follows: The admission process for the Bachelors programs starts in January 2024 and is through National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) where the first test will be held in April 2024 and the final admission for all the programs closes in August 2024. Some competitive exams are GATE is in February 2024, CAT in November 2023 while admission process starts after declaration of exams and gets over by August 2024 for all the programs for Masters. The academic year normally starts in 3rd week of July for most of the UG & PG programme in SPA Delhi. Applicants also submit their documents and eligibility certificates and marks in exams, through the online portal. - To get into B.Arch, the student has to write the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) examination which is conducted by the Council of Architecture and to get into the 5-year integrated program, the candidates have to appear for 10+2 level examination.

5. Selection Process: The shortlisting is carried out according to the NATA scores, and then the subsequent round of interview. The marks obtained in the National level test of NATA are given 85% weight and the marks scored in the interview session are given 15% weight and the final merit list is prepared on the basis of these scores.
6. Important Dates: This is normally between the periods of May/June when the application is usually opened for submission. Exact dates are declared on its website.
