Sir Padampat Singhania University offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Management, Commerce, Engineering Science, Arts and many more fields and the admission requirements are different in each department. For BTech programs such as Computer Science and IT, the requirement is simply the completion of high school with subjects such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with an average score of 50%. For MBA, the candidates have to complete a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 % marks. It is worth mentioning that BCom program is actually designed for those who have completed their 12th standard from any stream. For admission to BA and BSc programs passing certificates of class 12th science or arts stream is required. The University also recognizes standard tests for MBA such as CAT, MAT, XAT, for B. Tech it accepts JEE Main score and for MA/MSc it accepts SET/SLET scores.
The University has various faculties consisting of Engineering & Technology, Computer Applications, Management & Commerce, Pure & Applied Science, Languages & Social Sciences, Pharmacy, Design among others offer a variety of programs. These are B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Com, M.Com, B.A, M.A, B.B.A, M.B.A, B.Design, M.Design, B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy. The admission is taken annually in December each year. The universities under the SPUSAT conduct their entrance exam for undergraduate programs in the last week of May 2024. The date for the entrance examination of SPUPGCET is in first week of June 2024. Intake dates for the application form are from December to may for UG courses while for PG courses they are December to June. It involves selection criteria and procedure of SPUSAT/SPUPGCET, marks obtained in the qualifying examinations/entrance test and group counselling sessions. The new session for the academics is scheduled to start from the last week of July in the year 2024.

Application procedure for online application has following steps: The candidates should visit the official website of the University www.spsu.ac.in On the admissions page, the button saying ‘Apply Now’ should be clicked on; and then, the applicant has to register by entering the personal and academic information. They will be required to fill an application form which will be automatically generated and then they are required to fill it and scan documents to attach them. Students have to pay an application fee which can also paid through credit/debit card, net banking etc.

The form must be completed and signed along with the photocopies of the documents and the application fees which must reach the Registrar of the university before the stipulated dates. The criteria of selection are eligibility, merit, entrance test and the personal interview conducted by the management. Candidates who have been successful are notified of other admission processes in the University either through mail or telephone.
