There are different courses in various faculties these are Veda, Sanskrit, Vyakarana, Jyotisha, Dharma Shastra, Agama, Panditya, Indology, Archaeology, Music & Fine Arts, Sahitya, Philosophy & Yoga in Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The eligibility criteria is different for every department – For Veda & Sanskrit the candidate must have passed 10th standard with Sanskrit or Shastri in the concerned subject. For Indology, candidates need not possess any specific academic background but they should be a Bachelor of any University. For Archaeology, the minimum qualification prescribed is Bachelor of Arts in History / Ancient history and pass in the Science subjects of Class XII. The University accept following competitive examinations for admissions Intermediate/Class 12th, Undergraduate degree, Shastri, Acharya, BEd, Masters, MPhil, PhD, NET/SET in respective subjects.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Pan card, voter id, passport should be taken as the identity proof containing name, date of birth, address etc.
2. High School mark sheet and passing certificate from a recognised education board of your high school education.
3. 12th standard mark statement or pass memo indicating the grades obtained in the pre-university or intermediate examination.
4. First, you need to attach degree certificate & consolidated mark sheet if you have completed graduation to prove your bachelor’s degree qualification.
5. Original and attested copies of caste / community certificate if one belongs to SC, ST etc., to claim quota rights.
6. An updated passport size photograph and photocopies of the filled application form that is to be attached with the documents. Other documents needed at times such as the migration certificate, income proof.
1. For students the criteria in terms of eligibility are : The students must have passed 12th grade in science stream from a recognized board and must have secured more than 50% marks in that examination.
2. Application form – It is also downloadable from the university’s website, and one can also get a hard copy from the university administration.
3. Complete and attach documents with the form - These forms complete and attached with personal information, marks sheet, courses preferences, copies of documents and application fee.
4. Entrance test – It is crucial to note that depending on the B.Sc course of interest university, students may be required to write and pass an entrance test administered by the university.
5. Counseling – Based on the entrance test and the marks obtained in twelfth standard, counseling sessions take place and the students are allocated the subject and college of their choice depending on the availability.
6. Admission – However, in order to be part of the school, selected student must be able to go through the formal admission by paying fees and getting enrolled within the given time.

1. Other components to look for include the graduation percentage and the specialization in the subjects they completed.
2. On or before the last date, you have to apply either online or offline with all the required documents.
3. Sit an entrance test if it is required for the MA program.
4. Visit the university’s website or go through the local newspaper which usually publish the list of successful candidates and see if am among those selected for counseling.
5. Go for counseling, provide certificates and other documents, pay for acceptance deposit and other charges.
6. Full enrollment process should be completed and lectures should start on the set date.
