St Joseph University Dimapur (SJUD) is a private University of Christian character in the State of Nagaland, in the North Eastern Region of India. SJUD was established in the year 2016-17 and is accredited by the University Grant Commission and is also approved by the Government of Nagaland. The institution has achieved NAAC Grade A in 2023, affirming the quality of education offered at the university. SJUD has also found its place among the first 150 universities in the NIRF Rankings 2023.
The university provides various programs to its learners in different fields at under graduate, post graduate and even Doctorate level. Some of the popular courses in SJUD include the Btech courses in computer science and engineering, Electronics and Communications, Civil Engineering and many more. The other large streams encompass BBA, BCom, BA-Journalism & Mass Comm., MA/MSc in various majors, MCA and PHD. As for the semester exam, SJUD administers them in two seasons, which are November and April.
There is a provision of internships with various corporates and multinational organizations for the students of SJUD. Popular placement recruiters at SJUD are Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Accenture TCS among others. The institute has been successfully placing its students in corporate world and more than 85% of the graduating batch is placed in various organizations with an average salary of 4 to 8 LPA.
