Tamil University Thanjavur provides students with standard Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in arts, science, and languages. In arts stream, it offers Bachelor of arts in History, Economics, English Literature, Tamil Literature, to be eligible for the course candidate has to pass 10+2 in any subject relevant to the course. The acceptable entrance examinations are HSC, CBSE, SSC, ICSE and other State level examinations. In the case of MA programs for History, English Literature, Tamil Literature, the qualification required is the relevant degree level.
In science stream, BSc Programs in Maths Physics chemistry, Botany, Zoology are available for those candidates who have passed their 10+2 with science background. For MSc in these subjects, BSc in the same subject is eligibility Only those students who have already completed BSc in the same subject will be eligible to take up MSc in those subjects. HSC, CBSE, ICSE, etc. are valid examination as far as they are authentic and have been conducted properly.
Annamalai University Tamil Courses and its eligibility include: Tamil – Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Arts (MA), MPhil respectively as per 10+2, BA in Tamil, MA in Tamil qualification. The diploma of French, German, Russian, Arabic language accept 10+2 pass certificate of any group.
The Tamil University, Thanjavur follows the annual admission process for various Under graduate/post graduate/M.Phil/Ph.D programmes in Tamil Literature , Linguistics, Culture and Arts. The students can use either online or offline methods to apply for the admission.
