The Northcap University (NCU) is a private university incorporated under the Haryana Private Universities Act of 2009 in Gurugram. NCU was set up in 1996, it is accredited by UGC, is approved by AICTE and has the NAAC accreditation grade of ‘A’. According to NIRF rankings of the current year 2023, NCU has been placed at 81st among all private universities in India.
It has undergraduate level, postgraduate level as well as doctoral level programs in the fields of engineering, management, commerce, humanities, applied sciences, social sciences, media & design etc. Some of the most preferred programs offered at NCU are B.tech, MBA, BBA, BBA LLB, B.com, B.sc, M.tech. These programs examination schedule is in November/December and May/June every year. They admit students through national or state level entrance tests such as JEE Mains, CAT/MAT, CLAT etc, and also based on previous performance at school level before admitting a student into their institution. The application process for the academic year 2024 is expected to start from around September 2023.
NCU has a separate Corporate Relation and Career Development cell that takes care of Campus Placement and Internship programs. More than 200 companies from different streams come to the University every year for the recruitment process like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, Dell, Amazon, IBM, Star India etc About 32 LPA was the highest salary offered in the year 2022 and the average salary of the students was 6.5 LPA. Essentially, the graduates from NCU secured placement above 85% of the eligible students, which reveals that the market demand for NCU graduates remains high.

Northcap University has provided a very good facility to the students and more than 500 companies visit the campus every year for the placement like amazon, Microsoft, Goldman sachs, Samsung, Capgemini etc. The maximum placing was secured for the batch of 2021 at Microsoft offered with the highest salary package of Rs. 43.33 LPA, the average salary package of the batch was around 7.5 LPA.
