UST is a technical and research university, situated in the city of XYZ that is one of the most developed scientific and educational centers in the country. University of Science and Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs, students should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination and must have secured an aggregate of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates/PwD) in required subjects.
2. For admission in BTech programs students are expected to have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2. For other programs, academic qualification needed is 10+2 with subjects as per the concerned program chosen by the candidates.
3. For postgraduate programs, it is essential for the students to have a particular undergraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks for general category students and 55% for reserved category students. There might be entrance tests depending on the program that is being offered.
4. For MTech and MS programs, candidates must have a BTech/BSc/BE degree in related specialization and minimum of 60 percent marks. Some programs also accept AMIE or its equivalent qualification also.
5. For the admission in PhD courses, postgraduate degree in the concerned discipline with not less than 60% marks is essential with the qualification in the national level test such GATE/NET or University’s own entrance test.
6. In addition to this, students belonging to the reserved category are allowed 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria. Extra points for the certain number of years of specific work experience or publication for PhD and some other master’s degree programs.

Microsoft offered the highest salary package of Rs. 32 lakh per annum out of all the recruitment happening in the year 2021.
