The University of Technology Jaipur (UTJ) is one of the emerging Universities which provide education in various field of Undergraduate and Postgraduate streams in engineering, management sciences, sciences, humanities and social sciences. Some of the major differences between departments and programs include the eligibility requirements. BTech engineering programs include CSE, IT, EE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil and students will require 12th or equivalent with PCM and minimum 50% aggregate marks. Relevant documents include mark sheets, passing certificates, JEE Mains, REAP etc. For Management department BBA and MBA programs the candidates can graduate in any stream and have 50% marks the valid entrance tests are CAT, MAT ATMA. Science department provides BSc and MSc in all science subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and any candidate who has passed 12th Science is eligible.
UTJ has the online admission system for all its programs and the admission is usually undertaken in May of the year for the subsequent term in July. Each of the major streams has its respective national level entrance exam which is held in between February to July 2024. Some of the important exams are conducted from 21-Feb-2024 to 28-Feb-2024 for JEE Mains, REAP on 1st April 2024, CAT 2024 on 27-Nov-2022, ATMA on 26-Feb, XAT on 08-Jan and MAT February exam on 05-Feb for REAP. The candidates who make it to the final list based on the preliminary entrance exam scores and merit have to face group discussion and group interview sessions in June–July conducted by UTJ. The final admission offer is given after reviewing the performance of the candidate in writing test that is conducted, group discussion, personal interview and previous academic performance.
