Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research commonly known as Vignan’s University is a deemed University in India and is a private deemed university in Vadlamudi, Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to UGC and AICTE and accredited by NAAC with A grade. Vignan’s University was also placed at a position of 55th out of the universities in India in the NIRF Ranking 2023.
There are more than 150 programmes offered in engineering, sciences, management, pharmacy, law, architecture and others in the undergraduate level at the university. Some of the popular undergraduate programmes include BTech, BSc, BA, BBA, BPharm and also 5 year BTech + MTech, BSc + MSc, BBA + MBA integrated programmes. Admission to courses in 2024 shall begin in April-May and the entrance examination shall be conducted in April-May and counselling in June-July. The admissions are generally made in the qualifying examinations such as JEE Main, EAMCET, VITMEE or the institutional examinations conducted by the universities. An admission process begins in January of each year.
The university has an established Corporate Relations and Career Guidance department that takes care of ensuring students find internship and end of program placement for all the programs. Statistics for placements in the year 2022 indicate that over 92% of the eligible students of the graduating class of 2022 were hired by prominent companies and start-ups. Among the major recruiters of UG programs include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Accenture, IBM and Capgemini. Price range of UG and PG programs ranged between 3.5 and 25 LPA and 6.5 and 42 LPA respectively. The past five years have seen the university’s alumni experience a steady rise in placement and internship openings.

The interview and selection process of the final year students in Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research (Deemed to be University) is administered and supported by an active placement cell. Some of the companies that offer campus placements include TCS, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS and WIPRO etc. The highest salary package was offered in 2021 by Microsoft at annual remuneration of Rs 18 lakh.
