The BA program offered at WCUS requires exams such as HSLC, CBSE, ICSE for eligibility with the minimum aggregates humanities and social sciences – 45-60%, science – 55-70%, commerce – 50-70%. The BSc programs it offers are in subjects such as Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology and shares similar and the same pass standards as the qualifying examination. BCom program in Rural Hostel Campus requires HSLC, CBSE, ICSE scores with minimum 50-60% of the total marks. The BCA program also has similar criteria, as it requires the candidate to be 18 years or older, be a citizen of the United States, and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
The University has its undergraduate programs under faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Social work, and Computer applications. They include BA in English Honours, Political Science, Sociology, BSc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, BCom in Accounting and Finance, BSW in Social Work, BCA in Computer Applications.
There are a number of B.Tech degree courses available in W.C.U Shillong in the field of engineering. Admission are done through JEE Main, WBJEE and CET scores for Computer Science and Engineering department. Other requirements include having completed 10+2, passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and scored not less than 60% of marks. The Electronics and Communication department also offers admission based on marks obtained in JEE Main and WBJEE. Minimum percentage required: Applicants should have scored at least an average of fifty-five percent in 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Likewise, the requirement of Civil Engineering department for being eligible to get admitted into the course coupled the candidate to have passed the 10+2 level with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM and a valid score in the entrance tests like Assam CEE, JEE Main, and Tripura JEE.
The B.Tech programs comprise of computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and chemical engineering programs.
