The Birla Institute of Technology, Patna has a variety of programs in engineering, science, management and pharmacy fields at the undergraduate and post graduate level. Computer science, electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil and chemical are the various engineering departments available in BIT Patna. To be eligible to apply for admission to the Engineering programs, the applicant should have passed class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have secured an aggregate of 60% in the above subjects. The admission process is skill based where students have to take national level entrance tests such as JEE Main, BITSAT and others and state level test namely BCECE. Admission in the program of BTech Computer Science is open for students who meet the qualifying criteria of JEE Main, BITSAT, and BCECE.
