BVRIT or BV Raju Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is a private institution that provides a variety of degree programs for students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different disciplines. The engineering stream offered at BVRIT includes B.Tech in computer science, information technology, electronics and communication, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and so on. These B.Tech programs have some eligibility criteria which include completion of the Class 12 in the relevant subjects with the minimum pass percentage varying between 45-50% from the recognized board. The admission criteria of BVRIT includes marks in National level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, AP EAPCET, TS EAMCET etc. and BVRIT’s own entrance exam.
In the management stream, BVRIT offers BBA and MBA in various specializations such as marketing, finance, HR, IT, and operation. As a prerequisite for BBA, students have to secure a minimum of 50% in their Class 12 examination, while for MBA, the candidate is required to possess a bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% aggregate marks. Other standardised tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, etc., are accepted for MBA admissions. Some of the key dates in the 2024 admission calendar include, the application period that commence in January 2024 while counseling and admission takes place in June-July 2024. Every stream of studies that is offered at BVRIT like engineering, sciences, management, law and many more follow this timeline. The admission procedure for the selected students includes document verification wherein the admission fees were to be deposited as per the schedule notified by July 2024 before the start of the academic session which starts in August. The steps involved are application, eligibility test, counseling, document verification and fee payment.

For the purpose of applying online, the candidates have to visit the website of the institute at www.bvrit.ac.in , then navigate to the ‘Admissions’ tab. They ‘register’ themselves by inputting personal information such as name, date of birth, email id etc. and create their username and password. With these, they can login, complete the admission application form, scan documents to upload, make payments of application fees, and submit the form online.
Documents Required for Admission in BVRIT Hyderabad for Different Courses:
1. Candidates should have cleared 10+2 examination from recognized board and should have obtained minimum 50% marks for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2. The selection criteria will be on the merit basis of the entrance examination such as EAMCET/ECET conducted by the Government of Telangana state.
3. Since the admission is under the management quota, the students will be selected according to their percentage of the marks obtained in 10+2 or any other equivalent examination.
4. For NRI/PIO quota seats, admission would be strictly on merit based on 10+2 and SAT scores. The candidates with the successful entries have to attend a counselling session.
5. The eligibility criteria will also be relaxed for the candidates who haven’t given any entrance tests and applications of candidates will also be accepted on the basis of their 10+2 percentage even if the seats are vacant. The categories of candidates who receive institutional level counselling include such candidates.
1. Visit the BVRIT website and identify the admission/apply online option on the website. Find the Apply Now tab and click on the B.Tech programs to begin your application process.
2. Go to the official web site of the university, and complete the registration procedure to fill in the online application form. These include personal information such as name, address, age, gender, contact details, date of birth etc., academic information such as name of university/college, course of study, course level, academic program etc and program applying for details such as program title, program code, campus, mode of study, intake, etc.
3. Scan passport-sized photograph, signature, class 10 and 12 flying mark sheets etc as per the guidelines provided.
4. You are required to pay the application fee through online mode only.
5. Gather, analyze and complete the BVRIT B.Tech application process by submitting the application form. Also, ensure that all the details are well filled or well captured.
6. After completing the submission of the application form with the transaction details, the final copy has to be downloaded and printed for future use.
7. The other way is to wait for the announcement of merit lists by the respective institutes and check if you have been selected.
1. JNTU EAMCET Exam conducted for admission in Engineering, Agriculture and medical in Telangana State. This includes the rank attained in the exam For Instance, A Female Nurse can be said to possess the rank obtained in the exam as her qualification .
2. Percentage scored in the ‘qualifying examination’ which can be either Intermediate or Class XII. Minimum aggregate percentage needed is as following OC/BC 45% and for SC/ST candidates 40%.
3. Regarding the admissions under category B seats, the existing state government norms are implemented in the case of SC, ST, OBC and PH students.
4. In case of vacant seats for NRI/Sponsored admission, selection is done according to the candidate’s marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination. The minimum aggregate percentage required is 50% .
5. Even if there are students who have the same rank in EAMCET, then the marks that they got in their qualifying examination will be used. If all of this fails in breaking the tie then the older candidate is given preference.
6. Qualifying subjects required are: Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subjects respectively.
