Many of the BSc programs offered for subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology entails passing of the 12th board exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Maths. Progam offered BCom such as General BCom, Corporate Secretaryship, Computer Applications require 12th pass mark in any group. For BBA & BCA, the requirement is 50% in 12th standard without any specific stream being mandatory. MSc programs such as Organic Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at the University of Rajasthan are open to those with a BSc degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% marks. To be eligible for MCA program, the candidate must have BCA/ BCS/ B.E./ B.Tech. Degree with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ IT and at least 50% in aggregate. For Medical programs they accept NEET, for MBA/MCA they accept TANCET, for MTech they accept GATE score.
The Academic year 2024 will commence the admission process in the below-mentioned UG and PG level in Arts, Science Engineering, Law, & Teacher Education. Other bachelor courses such as BA English Literature, BSc Chemistry, BCom Financial Analysis and Control, BCA have tests in May 2024. Some of the Masters programs include MA History part 1 & 2, MSc Botany, MCom Business Administration, MCA etc have exams in June 2024. As for the application process, it begins in March 2024 on the college’s platform and other online platforms. In form submissions, applicants are required to complete an online form and attach relevant documents together with the application fees. It is merit based recruitment where students are selected after their performance in the 12th exams/entrance tests. Those students who are selected are called for counselling before they are given the provisional admission in the respective department.
Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore was established in 1997 and it offers various general courses in arts, science, commerce and management streams at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. - Thus for undergraduate programs like B.Sc admission criteria differ and it is usually 12th standard marks. However, there may be minimum cut-off marks that applicants must have in relevant subjects they sought admission in.
