Gita Autonomous College is one of the leading colleges in Khordha, Odisha providing courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It was founded in 1972 and was accredited by NAAC and was awarded Grade ‘A+’ in the year 2022. In terms of NIRF ranking 2023, GITA Autonomous College is ranked 25 among the colleges.

GITA Autonomous College Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. The pass in 10+2 or its equivalent examination is the basic requirement to apply for the undergraduate programs and the candidates are required to have secured not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates) in the relevant subjects.
2. For admission in B.Tech programmes, candidates should have passed 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Sometimes the minimum score criteria is set based on the entrance tests available on the national/state level for engineering.
3. One must secure a pass in 10+2 level for the BSc programs; additional the specific subjects vary depending on the designation taken; Mathematics/Biology for instance. Minimum aggregate criteria applies.
4. For the BA/BCom program, 10+2 pass certificate in any stream is required for the admission process. Candidates should have passed 10+2 exams for several programs, including BCom, with subjects related to the course of their choice. Minimum percentage criteria applies.
5. For pursuing Master of Technology/Master of Science, the candidates should have passed the respective bachelor’s degree examination with 50 percent marks in aggregate for general category and 45 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Other prerequisites may include the result of the entrance examination.
