ITER is the engineering college that offers undergraduate and postgraduate engineering degree programs in Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. ITER: approved by AICTE in the year 2007-2008 and recognized by UGC. NAAC has graded the institute with Grade A recently and as per NIRF rankings 2023 released recently the position of ITER in top engineering colleges of India is 75.
ITER is a premier institution of learning providing undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level classes in the fields of engineering and technology. The B.Tech courses being taught include Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and many others. This is Possible by sitting for national and state level entrance examinations for admission into these courses. The national level entrance test is JEE Mains proposed to be conducted in January 2024 while OJEE is in May 2024 for admissions in the academic year 2024–2025. This includes tuition and other fees by way of counselling sessions and by way of merit of seats that are to be filled.

1. BTech Programs - Science stream 10+2 passed in Physics, Chemistry, Maths with minimum 60 percent aggregate marks.
2. MTech Programs- A full time B-Tech/BE degree with minimum 60% marks in the relevant branch.
3. MBA Program - Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% combination of the marks
4. MCA Program- Another prerequisite qualification is a Bachelor’s degree with Maths/ Stats/ Computer Science /Electronics etc.
5. Diploma Programs- Having passed 10th standard having Maths and Science subjects.
1. The candidates must have cleared their standard X-standard XII or any other recognized board examination in science stream with at least 50% marks for general candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.
2. For admission to all the BTECH programs it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed the 10+2 examination and should have had Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects. Some of the programs may also have a prerequisite that students have to have a valid score in the JEE Mains examination.
3. For diploma courses it is mandatory to have passed 10th standard with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) for being eligible to take admission in it. In some cases, there may be other standards that the candidate must meet in addition to the above. 4. The school does not specify any age range that must be met for admission. However, some specific programs may use an upper age limit that applicants should consider as well. 5. Character certificate and migration certificate are to be submitted at the time of admission for students who passed their boards/States other than the present one.
6. It is also necessary for the reserved category students to show the proper document in original at the time of counseling which is a certificate issued by the Competent Authority for claiming the seat under the quota.
