Hansraj College is one of the premier educational establishments located in Delhi University and providing education in Science, Commerce and Arts faculties. They include Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Mathematics and Economics as well as English, Hindi, History, Political Science and many others. The eligibility of the candidates depends on the department of the student’s choice and for the B.Sc courses, students are required to have passed class twelfth examinations with minimum aggregate percentage of marks between 55 % to 60% in the respective school boards such as CBSE or any other equivalent board. Students are also expected to write national level entrance examinations including JEE Mains, CUCET for science stream courses, while DUET is relevant for arts and commerce disciplines in addition to the 12th marks.

The available B.A Courses are namely Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sanskrit, and the like. B.Com and B.com Hons is offered by the Department of Commerce of the college. The National Level Admissions Test will be held in May 2024 to admit students in different courses. The last admissions are made based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination, the overall availability of the seats in the particular subjects and the specializations also.

In general, the online admission procedure starts in May, following the publication of the admission notice by Delhi University. One has to first get registered on the Delhi University admission portal in case if the candidate is aspiring one. Similarly, candidates have to complete a centralised form and then choose Hansraj College as an option for the course they wish to pursue. Offline admission forms are also distributed at the college around the same time for the students who wish to pursue their courses offline.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
- Passing for 10+2, or similarly equivalent examination like A level, or IB or any equivalent examination; this may include marks obtained and subjects taken.
- On the other hand, the following would belong to category B if the program has an entrance test for admission: Few of the CUET, JEE Mains etc. are the tests conducted at the national level.

- A few colleges have minimum pass marks/set percentage standards from qualifying examinations for admission. There are some requirements that need to be met to be considered, and one of them is the cut-off criteria.
1. Using the links provided, visit the Hans Raj College admission portal and under the “Student Corner” tab, you will find the “Undergraduate Admissions” link.
2. On the available courses, click the one you want to apply for, in this case B.Sc. Honours then select your preferred subject/stream.
3. To be able to create one, fill in the necessary information on the necessary fields on the portal.
4. After that, you go to the website of the company, enter your login data, and complete the application for a job online.
5. Scan and upload documents such as the passport size photograph, the signature, class 10 and 12 certificates / mark sheets as per the prescribed format and size.
6. The fees toward the application can be paid through online through credit/debit card, net banking etc.
7. Make sure to verify all the information filled in before hitting the submit button on the form.
8. Complete the application form and forward the soft copy to the commission and retain the original copy with the application number.
9. In case candidates have qualified for the shortlisting, they must take the entrance exam/interview on the date and time that has been prescribed for the purpose.
10. Admission list if any, is announced in the college website or the respective college notice board
