The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education is an academic college based in Gandhinagar–Gujarat for teacher training. It was founded in 2004 and it is graded by NAAC with grade A. It is approved by the NCTE and UGC. The NIRF rankings 2023 ranked IASE 45th in colleges in India which is a testament to its superior academic and educational excellence.
Teaching is a cross-cutting stream in IASE and the institution hosts undergraduate and postgraduate teaching courses in streams like B.Ed, M.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed and B.El.Ed and D.El.Ed. Starts admission process in March of every year and the entrance examination is done in May/June. The exams are held from July through October. The 2024 process for admission will begin soon with exams and counseling will also start. The placement cell of IASE is very effective and has been successful in placing students in colleges both in government schools and private schools. IASE has organized campus placements involving over 500 educational institutes. Some of best recruiters are Anand Niketan School, Udgam School for Children, Satellite School and Mother’s International School with packages offered from 3-5 lacs per annum. The maximum salary has been 8 LPA and the percentage of placement stands as high as 86%. Its graduates are held high and can easily be employed in teaching institutions.
