MAIT is one of the premier institution in New Delhi that provides various courses in Engineering, Computer Applications, Business Management etc. The entrance criteria of the university also differs from the departments where for B.Tech programs in CSE, ECE, Mechanical etc. students should have minimum 60% marks in 12th with PCM subjects. UPSEE, JEE Main, etc are the entrance test through which a candidate can apply to the BCA course The candidate should have passed 12th in any stream with minimum 50% marks. Intake will be on the basis of admission tests at the national and state level. MBA requires a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and also an aggregate score of CAT/MAT. Similarly as for the Applied Sciences, Architecture, and more, eligibility and accepted exams are different.
MAIT at present provides about 12 UG, PG and Diploma courses in the disciplines of Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Applied Sciences, etc. MAIT provides admissions through various paths such as JEE Main, GATE, UPSEE, CAT, MAT etc.
MAIT, established at New Delhi, provides various courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and many more in fields of engineering, technology and management. Separate admission procedures have been developed for the students willing to join MAIT, and they can either apply online or apply in person depending on the program.
The registration for the admission to the different programs of BTech can be filled online for the admission through the form available on the website of Mait Gournari www.mait.ac.in during the specified time. To apply online follow the process below; The online admission portal is accessible through the school’s website First, create an account by providing your details Submit the account details and proceed to complete the admission form Submit all the necessary documents required alongside the completed admission form Pay the registration fee for the admission The completed admission form should be submitted online. The offline admission process is where the prospective candidate has to come to the institute to apply and acquire the application form by paying the appropriate fees. The application forms have to be downloaded, filled and the photocopies of the qualifying examination marks statements, certificates and other documents that are required as per the form must be enclosed and the same must reach the institute within the time specified.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is one of the self-financed technical institutes that are located in New Delhi and the institute offers several Under Graduate courses in various departments of engineering and technology. Computer Science and Engineering Department accepts the JEE Main, AIEEE & IIT-JEE exams for admission to the 4 years full time BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. The requirement criteria is that the candidate should have passed his/ her 12th Standard examination with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) subjects. The Electronics and Communications department under the engineering stream entails the course BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering that has the JEE Main score for eligibility. Candidates should have passed in PCM in their class 12th with at least 50% marks. The Faculty of Information Technology has a B.Tech in Information technology which admits students based on AIEEE and JEE Main entrance examinations. Admission requirement for the students is a minimum of 60% marks in PCM in the 12th standard. Some other departments in UG are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and so on, and all participate in accepting national level engineering entrance examination for admission.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), New Delhi is one of the premier engineering colleges in the region offering several two year Post Graduate programs in multifaceted disciplines. The college also has Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering departments offering the PG courses.
M.Tech in Computer Science is offered by the Computer Science department of the university and there is provision of admission through GATE/NET. Electronics department also offers M.Tech in VLSI Design, GATE score is considered as the criteria for admission. Civil Engineering department offers M.Tech in Structural Engineering, and for admission, one has to qualify GATE. Mechanical Engineering department offers M.Tech in Thermal Engineering/Manufacturing Systems Engineering where GATE scores will be considered. The Power Systems course is offered under the M.Tech program in the Electrical Engineering department and the department accepts GATE test scores. Candidates should possess valid engineering degree in related branch along with minimum 55% aggregate marks from any recognized university.
1. JEE Main Rank: For admission to the said programs, the candidates will require to have a valid rank in JEE Main. But students having higher ranks are given preference in admission.
2. Class 12th Percentage: For the post of Teachers, the eligibility criteria include minimum 60% marks in Class 12 exams (55% for SC/ST candidates). Hiring managers prefer those with higher percentages of actual work experience in their field.
3. Entrance Test: The students who have been selected on the basis of their ranks obtained in JEE have to sit for another test that is being held by MAIT. Grading in this test has been deemed useful or important or has been given some kind of value or importance such as being part of the overall assessment of a subject.
4. Interview: Subsequently and before the final selection, an interview test is carried out on the candidates. The interview signifies other aspects besides academic performance.
5. Final Merit List: According to the provisions of the above criteria, MAIT forwards the common merit list along with the inter-se merit of the candidates for B.Tech admissions. Here the candidates are given ranks and according to these ranks the number of seats to be admitted are given to the candidates.
6. Seat Availability: The admission of the candidate is also contingent upon the availability of space in the concerned B.Tech specialization applied by the candidate.
