Narula Institute of Technology, also known as NIT, is a private engineering institution established in 1996 in Kolkata, West Bengal. NIT was established in the year 1998, which was recognized and approved by AICTE and is now an affiliated institute of MAKAUT. It has NAAC Grade A accreditation showing that it has good physical infrastructure and educational qualities. In the NIRF India Rankings 2023, the NIT has been ranked 151 in total engineering colleges in India.
This institute provides Degree courses and Post Graduate Degree courses in various fields of studies. The B.Tech courses for which are Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Narula Institute of Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Aspirants needs to possess 10+2 in any stream preferably Science/Commerce/Humanities stream with minimum 50% marks passed from a recognized board.
2. For admission in various BTech progammes, the candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 60% marks.
3. For BCA program, the candidates have to pass 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum 50 % marks.
4. The eligibility criteria for BBA and BCom programs includes passing of 10+2 in any stream for admission with at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam from a recognized board.
5. Applicants with a diploma can appear for a direct lateral entry to the subsequent year of BTech programs depending on the availability of the seats.
