Netaji Subhash Engineering College also known as NSEC Kolkata is one of the renowned private engineering colleges in Kolkata, West Bengal, situated in Garia. NSEC Kolkata was founded in the year 2006 and is accredited to AICTE, Govt. of India and is an affiliated institute of MAKAUT previously known as WBUT. It has been accredited by the NAAC and it has secured B++ grade. In the NIRF ranking system of 2023, NSEC Kolkata secured 151rd position out of all the engineering colleges in India. 

Undergraduate courses are provided by the institute in different areas of engineering having Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and information technology streams. The total intake capacity is nearly 720 students for a session. It involves WBJEE counseling which starts in April every year for admission into the engineering colleges of West Bengal. 

NSEC Kolkata has a functional placement desk where the institution helps in the recruitment of students. Some of the leading organization that have been recruiting from this college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, HCL and so on. The placement statistics show that 85% of the students from the eligible list have got placed in companies with average salary ranging from 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum while few students have got placed with the highest salary package of 18 lakhs per annum by through campus recruitment drive. This is the highest salary offered among the companies that are participating in the recruitment offresh talents.
