FIEM is a self-financed engineering and management college and is situated at Kolkata in the state of West Bengal. With its inception in 2006, FIEM is an AICTE approved institution affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The institute has got the ISO 9001:2015 certification and has been accredited by the NAAC Grade A and it has gained the NIRF Ranking 2023 and it has positioned among the 150 engineering colleges in India.
It’s an engineering institute offering a four-year undergraduate program in different branches of engineering and management, along with two-year postgraduate programs in the same streams. The BTech programs available for the students are Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Power Systems are also taught as MTech programs in FIEM. They are business administration, bachelor of business administration, master of business administration, and bachelor of business administration master of business administration. These exams are scheduled to occur in June-July 2024 as per university schedules and students can register online or on the prospectus for the above mentioned courses. Admission is offered based on the students’ performance in the qualifying examinations such as JEE Main, GATE, MAT, or the state-level entrance tests.

1. For admission into BTech programs, students should have completed their 10+2 examination with five subjects including physics, chemistry and mathematics as the main subjects with average passing marks greater than 50% from a recognized board.
2. For MTech, a candidate should have a BTech/BE degree in the concerned specialty from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
3. BCA applicants are required to have cleared their 10+2 in any stream along with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized board or University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
4. To appear in MCA examination candidates should have passed the Bachelor’s degree examination with Mathematics in 10+2 standard and should have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any university recognized by the university.
5. The eligibility criteria required for BBA are one has to pass 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in the total from any recognized board for BBA.
6. To seek admission in MBA, the candidate must have a bachelor degree in any field with minimum 50% marks from any University.
