Tirupati, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College offers several engineering programs at undergraduate level. President of Computer Science Engineering Department provides the following admission criteria for BTech in CSE Passing 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or diploma in any stream of engineering with minimum of 60% aggregate. English proficiency tests include TOEFL, IELTS while entrance tests cover JEE Main, AP-EAMCET, SAT. The course, BTech EEE is offered by the electrical and electronics engineering department and the candidates need to pass 12th in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or diploma in electrical engineering. The norms have accepted JEE Main and AP EAMCET exams. The Civil Engineering Department provides the BTech in Civil Engineering program and also accepts the 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths through entrance tests such as JEE Main, AP EAMCET SAT. Other BTech programs offered across mechanical, electronics & communication, IT, Automobile engineering departments with the similar to 12th pass eligibility and acceptable exam.
For the next two rounds of admissions of 2024, the exams and admission process are planned to be as follows: The JEE Main exam will be held in January and April of 2024, while the AP EAMCET exam will be conducted in the last week of April 2024. In terms of these exams, the counselling will take place during May- June 2024, where document verification will be conducted, where the students will be allowed to open their web options where according to rank and reservations, the seats will be allotted. This will be followed by students confirm their admission through payment of fees according to the college and course they have been given. The whole admission process completes by the end of July 2024 for welcomed students to join college in coming August.

- For management quota seats the students are admitted by taking the scores in 10+2 and an examination conducted by the college for the purpose of admitting students under management quota.

- The common entrance exam is taken by the name Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (PolyCET). This is held annually, and typically in the month of May.
- PolyCET exam is conducted and composed of 150 multiple-choice questions in the areas of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, for 10th standard.
- Henceforth, counseling is performed according to the PolyCET scores and merit rank. The students who seek admission have to go through counseling according to their rank and get seat in the preferred polytechnic college.
- To seek admission at SVEC Tirupati, a student has to obtain PolyCET qualifying rank with the intention to secure registration for the diploma courses offered by the college. To be more specific, cutoff ranks are usually different per branch.
