St. Xavier’s College Ranchi is one of the best known institutions in the field of education in Jharkhand that provides various undergraduate and post graduate courses in science, commerce, arts and management stream. The college is divided into different departments like physics, chemistry, maths, stat, economics, English etc. For BSc the candidate should have passed 12th with minimum 50% marks in PCM. For the admission in BA and BCom in any stream, the candidate must passed 12th with minimum 45% marks. Admission through Common Law Admission Test and Under Graduate Common Entrance Test is also acceptable along with other examinations such as JEE Mains, CUET, TS EAMCET, etc. Work experience is also considered for applicants who seek admission into the management programs.
These are various and include BSc in physics, chemistry, mathematics, BCom in accounting & finance, BA in economics, psychology, English literature, among others. Other courses offered are the PG courses such as MSc physics, MA English, MCom are some of the PG courses are offered. It is important to know that all courses offer semester system evaluation. The admission process begins in the month of May every year where students apply online by filling up the admission form and uploading necessary documents. All UG & PG programs and their respective entrance tests are conducted in the month of July 2024. The shortlisted students will also undergo a group discussion and an individual interview as well. The admission list is usually released by the end of the month of July 2024 on the college website and on the college notice board. Students can confirm their admission by paying fees before the end of the second month of the first year, which is 10th August, 2024. The new academic session is from the third week of August of each year.

6. You should upload the following documents such as 10+2 marksheet, school leaving certificate, passport size photo etc.
7. For the application fee use the option of debit card, credit card or internet banking.
