Vignan Institute of Technology & Science was established in Hyderabad which offers number of under graduate and post graduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, business administration, computer applications etc. The B.Tech program of computer science, information technology, electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil branches have certain eligibility criteria to apply namely 12th or equivalent qualification with 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics for general category and 45% for SC & ST category. Admissions are done on state/national level engineering entrance test such as EAMCET, JEE main etc., 12 th pass with physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and minimum 50% aggregate marks required for B. Pharmacy. Under Graduate Programme: B.B.A, B.C.A – It admits students from any discipline and the admission is given through qualifying examination conducted by the institute and interview.
The major streams includes B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.B.A, M.B.A, B.C.A and M.C.A B.Tech entrance exam dates are in second week of May for EAMCET and third week of February for JEE Main and for B.Pharm is also same as B.Tech, for B.B.A and B.C.A is in last week of May and for Admission process includes filling online or offline application forms, taking entrance examination or test which may be relevant to the course, uploading documents which may be required and also if the candidate is selected, attending the counselling session according to the rank or merit and the last step is to complete admission formalities by paying fees. The admission process is conducted every year and is finalized by the fourth week of August.
For online application, go to the official website www.vignaniw.org and find the ‘Admission’ link and open it. Choose the particular course of interest and then complete the online registration details form in the appropriate manner. Upload scanned images of 10th and 12th mark sheets and other necessary documents such as photographs, etc., as instructed. Using credit/debit card, net banking etc pay the application fee while making application submission.On successful submission application number will be generated apply that number for tracking.
The VITS Hyderabad application form can be obtained from the admission office for filling offline mode. Complete the application form in the correct format, enclose certified copies of document mentioned in the application form and hand over the completed application to the office along with prospectus fee. The admission is granted on merit attained in the previous qualifying examination along with any other examination conducted by the institute. Admissions are confirmed through fees payment within the given deadline. It is offering B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA courses and is accepting admission applications for the academic session 2008-2009. There are few opportunities as the seating is limited hence one should apply early.

- It is Standard based on the scoring obtained by candidates in the entrance examinations conducted at national/ state level such as JEE Main, AP-EAMCET, etc.
- As for the convener quota seats, ranking in the Common Entrance Tests like AP-EAMCET are taken into account. Ranking limits may differ by year.
- In the case of management quota seats, the management of the college decides in accordance with the scores obtained in the Class 12 board examinations or the entrance examinations. These are determined by the college management depending on the course and competitive standards of the market.
- Besides academic criteria, factors like number of seats available, quotas for sectors such as women, defending, etc also contribute to the selection.
- Sometimes, personal interviews and academic record have also been considered before final merit list are prepared.
- When preparing the merit lists for B.Tech admissions, priority is given more to subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
1. Application Form: The application form can be downloaded from the internet from the VITS website or else get it in the campus itself. Kindly complete all the fields of the form as needed and ensure all necessary information is provided.
2. Entrance Exams: Take the engineering entrance tests such as JEE Main, AP EAMCET and so on Enter your marks obtained in the exam correctly while applying for the job. These will be used to determine the qualification of anyone seeking to be admitted into the school.
3. Documents Submission: While filling the application form, the candidates are required to attach all the documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, entrance exam scores and photos etc., which are required for the admission process.

5. Counselling & Admission: If you are among the shortlisted candidates, you will be invited for counselling based on your examination scores on the entrance test, and the number of available vacancies. Here the authenticity of the documents presented by the clients will be ascertained. Lastly, the process of allocating the seats is done along with the other necessary admission procedures.
6. Enrollment: Lastly, when the admission has been granted then finalize the enrollment procedures by paying initial semester fee and any other enrollment documentation procedures.
- Apart from VITEEE scores status, the admissions that are offered involve the availability of seats in the concerned specializations and percentage and rank achieved by the candidate.
- Besides the entrance test, the candidates may be required to take a counselling or an interview sometimes before taking admission.
