PhD Plant Sciences Course Eligibility 2024

1. At least 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree in plant sciences, botany, agriculture or any other related field. 

2. Admission at this level happens through national level tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or any other equivalent test with relevant score cards. 

3. Candidates who pass the screening are required to attend an interview in order to determine their research ability, area of specialization, communication skills and passion. 

4. A candidate has to pass in the interview above the cut-off marks to be given a provisional admission to the Ph.D program.

5. Fresh students who are admitted to the program are required to take some pre-requisite courses in the early semesters before they embark on the full time doctoral studies.
