AP Goyal Shimla University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For UG programs candidates must have passed 10+2, having passed in relevant stream from recognized board with minimum 50% marks for open category and 45% for reserved category candidates.
2. For PG programs, minimum 10+2 years’ pattern of education with at least 50% marks for General category candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates in their UG degree from a recognized university.
3. For diploma and certification courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in respective fields from recognized board.
4. For Doctoral Research programs, Post Graduation degree in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University.
5. Reduction in the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in 5% for candidates from Himachal Pradesh.
6. Reservation in the seats to be offered as per the norms laid down by the Himachal Pradesh government for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and physically challenged category.
