Garden City University Bangalore is built on a strong foundation of providing Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in various disciplines such as Engineering, Business Management, Science, Arts, Commerce, and Law in addition to Fashion Design. The eligibility criteria for different departments, for Engineering programs like, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, the candidate must have passed 12th having a minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry Math/Biology from a recognized board. Admissions are accepted on basis of entrance exams such as JEE Mains, KCET, COMEDK. Admission to the BBA and MBA courses are open for all Streams and minimum 50% marks in graduation is required.
Programmes and courses offered include; BTech, MTech, BSc, MSc, BBA, MBA, BA, MA, LLB, BCom, MCom and BDes. Offline and Online mode through university website or visiting campus is possible for applying candidates. The selection process includes written and group discussion/ personal interview exam with a pass mark of fifty five percent. Some necessary documents needed during the admission process are 10th and 12th marksheet, qualifying exam admit card, scorecard and Id proof, photographs. Hostel facility available. Students get a chance to use the facility in the sporting complex, laboratories, library, healthcare unit, and other facilities. Other scholars also available as per the category of the students.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Official documents such as the Aadhaar card, the PAN card, or the driving license that provides the individual’s identity and age.
2. Board issued passing certificate of class 10th, transparency showing your marks in each subject and the year when you passed.
3. The document is an original passing certificate of Class 12 issued by the board stating the grades, the year of passing, and the stream in which a candidate appeared .
4. A document that certifies that a student has migrated from the previous school/college where he/she was studying.
5. Character certificate on your decent character issued within the last three months from your last attended school/college.
6. The applicants who had passed the respective exams for grades 10, 11 and 12 should enclose mark sheets that display the subjects studied and the marks scored for each subject.
1. You should make sure that you meet the requirements for the course you are applying for - UG courses require 10+2 certificates, PG course require a graduation degree.
2. Application form may be submitted online as well as in offline mode but before the last date. Pay the application fees.
3. Take GCU’s entrance examination if you are expected to do it depending on your course. Some of the courses have what is referred to as merit basis, this means that the courses are only open to certain set of students.
4. Visit GCU web site to compare declaration of results with those provided. The candidates that are selected are taken through a counseling process.
5. Assist in document verification and counseling sessions. Out of all the courses and branches offered by universities, select the one you wish to pursue based on the merit rank.
6. Once allocated a place, pay for development charges to affirm your admission and get placed.
1. Go to the official website of the university and read the given criteria for admission in the BBA program especially the marks and subjects required.
2. In person, request for an application form at the admission office or download it from its website. If required, pay the application fee at the time of applying.
3. It would comprise correct personal details, the academic background (10th, 12th mark sheets), and the extracurricular activities in the form.
4. Take the university entrance test if necessary and or group discussion and interview as part of the admission process in the university.
5. Result of admission can be seen at the university noticeboard or website. Students to be admitted will receive an admission letter.
6. Finish the admission formalities by providing other relevant documents and paying for the tuition fees as well as other fees to confirm the admission.
7. Go through orientation and start with the new classes on the specified day. Policies of student retention should be followed to remain in the program, required number of absences should be met.

2. Sit for GCU’s entrance test on the date and time provided and pass with the minimum required pass mark.
3. Attached mark sheets of tenth standard and twelfth standard, identity proof, entrance exam hall ticket and the duly filled application form.
4. Along with the merit list, if you have been given a specific program, check the details and pay full fees to confirm your seat.
5. Retrieve final admission letter from the candidate login portal once the payment of fee by the candidate is ascertained.
6. Attend the specified date to report and present documents for purposes of verification and complete the admission process.
7. Orientation program: They must attend an orientation program and start taking classes based on the academic calendar.
1. See the basic requirements like having a master’s degree in the subjects concerned with a minimum of 55% mark.
2. Choose a research topic that falls under the various faculties of the university and find a potential guide/supervisor among the faculty members listed on the university website.
3. Visit the official website for the university of your choice and download the Ph.D application form typing the necessary details. Attach relevant documents.
4. Enclose the completed application form and the application fee to the Registrar before the stated date for handing in the forms.
5. In case of shortlisting, sit for the entrance examination and interview to be held as per the schedule released by the university.
6. If they are selected as students, then the students need to pay the admission fees and get the confirmation of the research topic and the guide to start up the Ph.D programme.
1. Find out a professor or a faculty member who works in the specific field of your research interest in GCU Bangalore and then you talk to him/her to be your supervisor for the PhD program.
2. Submit an online application for the Ph.D. at GCU by completing the desired application form mentioning necessary information such as Educational Background, Research Interests, and pay the application fee.
3. Sit and pass any entrance examination such as GCUET if necessary for entry into the Ph.D program.
4. If shortlisted you are usually required to sit for an interview in front of a selection committee to test your knowledge as well as your interests.
5. Submit recommendation letters, prepare research proposal in consultation with the guide and submit all required documents to the department of admissions.
