The following are the criteria for admission into B.Pharm: Pass in 12th class with 50% marks in PCM aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST) or any other examination like EAMCET. GITAM Hyderabad considers national level entrance examination of JEE Main, GATE, NATA and state level exams including AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, APICET for admission into its various undergraduate programs.

Documents Required for Admission in GITAM University Hyderabad for Different Courses:
GITAM University Hyderabad has numerous undergraduate programs in the streams of engineering, pharmacy, sciences, management, law, etc Its eligibility criteria are different for departments, for B.Tech in CSE, ECE, ME, Civil AI & ML, it will require passing Class 12th with 60% in PCM/PCB for open category and 55% for SC/ST. Permitted examinations are any Intermediate level exam from TS / AP board, CBSE, ICSE or Diploma. For BPharm, you should have had 50% marks in Class 12th (45% for SC/ST) with PCB/PCM as subjects. Applicants willing to apply for the BBALLB 5-year integrated law program must have minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST category) in their Class 12th in any stream. The BBA, BCom programs one needs to clear 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in 12th standard from any stream.
UG programs provided at GITAM Hyderabad across stream of business, science and technology are, BTech (CSE, ECE, ME, Civil, AI & ML), BPharm, MPharm, BSc (Hons.) (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), BBA, BCom (Hons.), BBALLB, BA LLB, BDes.
PhD at GITAM Hyderabad is available in a wide range of disciplines such as Management, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Law and many more. Admission to PhD programmes may be based on the general criteria as mentioned earlier or the departmental criteria. Management, students need a masters in business administration or its equivalent with at least 55% marks. It includes CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-NET examination but the student must be admitted to a PGDM program. For engineering PhD, students should have ME/MTech degree in any branch of engineering such as computer science engineering, electronics engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering etc,. GATE/UGC-NET are accepted exams. For the post of Lecturer in pharmacy, candidate should possess MPharm degree with minimum 55% marks and GPAT qualified candidates would be preferred. Architecture PhD entails BArch and MArch degrees and students need to secure a minimum of 60% marks.
