Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur: Admission Procedure: The admission procedure to the various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered at HPTU, Hamirpur can be either online or offline. Those students in search of admission can go through their official site of HPTU which is www.himtu.ac.in to view the admission notification and apply for the course concerned.
The candidate will register themselves on the admission portal of HPTU and fill the online admission form as per the details given below. They then required to complete an online application form and will be required to upload documents like photographs, signatures, educational certificates etc as per the requirement. For offline admission the students have to download the prescribed Application form only available on our website only. - HPTU provides MPharm courses in three majors of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics.
- Seemingly, the candidate’s performance in the Himachal Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (HPCET) organized by the university is the major factor considered while admitting students.
- The specific admission and examination dates for the MPharm programs for the 2023-2024 academic year are not yet known to the university. From prior years schedules, the HPCET exam had been conducted in the month of June.
- The counseling sessions are conducted in July/August of the academic year after the HPCET exam to fill the seats under different categories which includes merit, preferences and availability. Once a seat has been assigned to a student, then it will be required that the student follow the laid down admission procedures.
