IIT Jodhpur follows the Indian Institutes of Technology model and has a number of departments and provides undergraduate and postgraduate education in them, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Humanities and Social Science. The admission requirements are different based on the department and the course type – For the BTech programs, one should pass 12th standard with minimum 60-75% PCM average based on the category, and clear JEE Advanced exam. For admission in MTech and PhD programs one needs to have BTech /MTech degree with 60-70 percentage or GATE qualified. The only qualifying exams recognized are JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech and Ph.D.
IIT Jodhpur in Jodhpur, the candidates have the option of getting the admission form through online mode or through offline mode. For online application, go to the official website iitj.ac.in and navigate to the admission options link click on Admissions or go directly to the admission portal link admissions.iitj.ac.in. There is provision to apply for B.tech, M.tech, M.S, PhD and other courses provided by the institute. This involves the provision of the applicant’s basic personal information, academic achievements, the program of his, and a fee for the online application form. Photocopy, photo ID proof, signature, if the candidate belongs to any category then the certificate of that category should also be scanned and uploaded.
