IIT Kottayam is one of the premier institutes launched under the Indian Institute of Technology system in Kottayam, Kerala. It provides the B.Tech courses in computer science and engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering and other disciplines. The eligibility criteria differ as per the departments, where for Computer Science, Electrical and Mechanical engineering students, a minimum 75 percent aggregate in the PCM subjects in 12th class or Rank in top 20 percentile in JEE Main exam is mandatory. Documents Required for Admission in IIT Kottayam for Different Courses:
1. JNU Main Campus Admission: Apply online through JOAPS portal for UG/PG programs before the last date.
2. Write JEE Advanced/GATE examination and clear cut off for UG/PG level in turn.
3. The candidates that made it into the shortlist for each position were then invited for counseling session according to merit.
4. The verification of the document is carried out during counseling.

2. Appear for the central counseling along with seat allotment to get admitted into the IIT Kottayam and a branch of their preference according to their rank and availability of seats.
3. After obtaining the seat, complete the admission formalities by paying the admission fee and get a confirmation message at JoSAA website within the given time limit.
4. This along with the mark sheets, certificates, category certificates if any, and medical certificate should be submitted in original at the time of admission.
5. You have to get a hostel accommodation and fill in the registration process according to the guidelines specified by IIT Kottayam via e-mail or website.

1. Understand the JEE Advanced exam pattern and pass the exam securing a rank under various categories.
