Admissions for the July 2024 session to all courses and programmes offered under various disciplines and streams have been released by IGNOU. Online applications start from 1st March 2024 and last to be made on 30th April, 2024. The prospective admission seekers are expected to visit the university website and register for the admission. The university has two Term End Exam sessions in the year that is in June and December of each year and the students can check the notification of exam form and date sheet about a month before the exam at the official website of the university. It incorporates application through online portal, verification of documents, selection of programme, payment of fees and finally automated generation of enrolment number. Students need to produce all necessary documents for enrollment including proof of eligibility for admission.
IGNOU is a distance learning system with a national presence and unifies students in New Delhi. The online application process requires applicants to make an account on the admission portal, fill in their personal information, upload documents, select programmes of interest, and make online application fee payments. The process starts when the application is submitted and followed by the verification of the credentials. If deemed eligible, the university writes a confirmation letter thus giving a go-ahead for the applicant to join the class. Entry is given on the basis of program eligibility and prerequisite which includes educational qualification, age limit, work experience etc. For distance learning also it is necessary for the students to provide complete and correct information to the university and make sure that he/ she fulfills all the eligibility condition of the program applied.
- It is not possible to state the schedule and process of IGNOU’s 2024 admission as this information is yet to be released by the university. I am not sure when the admissions for 2024 will be announced but it will be in the course of the year 2023 or early in 2024.
- The registration for online admissions for 2023 is often scheduled starting from March/April on IGNOU website. This is normally in the last week of May or June-July.
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 50 aggregate per cent degree marks in graduation. The minimum score to be considered for reserved categories is 45%.
- There are nearly 10 Regional center in Delhi where the B.Ed program of IGNOU will be offered. Applicants can pick the regional center which is near to him.

- MBA programs are also offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU through open and distance learning mode. The New Delhi regional center is one of the most significant regional centers among IGNOU centers in India.
- For the batch which will begin in 2024, the admission notices are normally issued 6 months in advance that is in the month of September or October 2023.

- IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) makes announcement for admission into M.Sc once in a year in the month of June/July for the course starting in the month of July/August.

- Students interested in applying for the admission process to MCA in IGNOU New Delhi may check the notification in the months of March/April for the July session of the year. I expect that applications for the 2024 academic year will open in March or April 2024 for admission into 2024.
- There are some precondition for finding the MCA Program such as candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks and mathematics in 10+2 or graduation level.

- The IGNOU MCA entrance exam can be taken by people of any age without any defined attempt limit.
- It is ideal to apply for admission to B.Com in IGNOU 6 months before the beginning of the session. Thus, for the period of the January 2024 session, the window period would be July/August 2023.
