Maharishi Markandeshwar (MM) is a deemed university established at Mullana, Ambala Distt., Haryana. MM was set up in 1993 and it is a private university approved by UGC and recognized by NAAC with A++ grade, NIRF ranking 86 in 2023. Students have a choice of multi-disciplinary courses across faculties of engineering, management, pharmacy, nursing, agriculture, computer applications, education, law and physiotherapy, etc.

As for the examinations, MM conducts them twice a year, and it has published the dates for some courses for the 2024 admission. Others include CETs for engineering, law, MBA and B.Ed.Some of the common competitive exams are NEET for medical, MAT for MBA, AIEEE and JEE Main for engineering, CLAT for law, etc. These are the entrance exams offered in the institution followed by counselling sessions in order to be admitted. Maharishi Markandeshwar Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. The admission to the under graduation courses such as BTech, Bsc, BA and Bcom etc., the candidate must have passed their 12th standard examination with the percentage between 50% – 60% depending on the course from any recognized board of education.

2. For admission in postgraduate programs such as MTech, MSc, MA, MCom etc., the candidates must have completed their Bachelors degree from a recognized university and must have scored minimum aggregate marks between 50-60% depending on the courses they want to take admission in. 

3. To get admission in diploma program in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture etc., the applicant should have minimum qualification of 10th standard pass with 50% marks in the relevant subjects.  

4. For the admission in PhD programs, candidate must have M.Com/MBA/MS in relevant discipline with minimum 55 % aggregate marks and GATE/NET score.

5. Candidates who are willing to join the management programmes should have any undergraduate degree with minimum 50% to 60% marks in their respective bachelor degree from any university as per the program. 

6. After registering on the university portal, a candidate needs to meet the program wise eligibility criteria mentioned by the university regarding educational qualification, marks, entrance test scores etc. to qualify for admission to the various programs.
