MUM is one of the leading universities in the state of Haryana offering a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields of management, engineering, computer applications, commerce, science, arts, education, pharmacy and more. It has well-known programs like the BTech which accepts scores from the JEE Main & GATE, MBA which accepts MAT, CAT, CMAT scores, the BCom which accepts scores from the qualifying exam, BA & BSc & BCA which too accepts scores from the qualifying exam for admission, BEd which accepts scores from the qualifying exam, BPharm which accepts GPAT scores & scores from the qualifying exam among others. A candidate to get the admission has to meet the requirements for the exam and the program such as passing class 12th, meeting the required marks as prescribed by the university, no upper age limit and others.
Key dates regarding admission in Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala for the session 2024 are JEE Main January session exam from 6 to 11 January, MAT exam on 4 February, CAT exam in last week of November and GPAT exam in last week of January. Similarly, other National and State Level entrance test dates would be declared shortly. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Marks in the qualifying examination for 10+2 or its equivalent.
2. Percentage marks scored in the subjects from the previous qualifying examination such as Physics, chemistry, Biology, Mathematics etc depending on course applied for.
3. Score obtained in the university entrance test, if taken
4. A candidate should have a proof of having passed the previous class exam (Class 10 or equivalent) usually accompanied by marks percentage.

3. Go to the admission portal then select the course of your choice which in this case is B.Sc before proceeding to begin your online application.
4. In the application from, there several sections available for completing personal details, academic details, contact details and others.
5. Scanned photocopy of the passport photo, signature, Class 10 and 12 marks sheets etc. are to be uploaded according to the size prescribed

7. Ensure you go through all the entries which you filled on the application form before submittance.
8. After completing the application you are taken to a new page with a confirmation number; click on the print button to obtain the confirmation page.

1. MMU engineering entrance test - Candidates need to perform well in the MMU engineering entrance test and must tally with the passed cut off. Anyone scoring a high mark in the entrance exam would stand a greater chance of being selected.
2. Marks of 10+2 or Equivalent examination - At least 50% mark included 45% marks for SC/ ST students in 10+2 or equivalent must be obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. This shows that a higher percentage in 10+2 directly enhances the probability of selection.
3. JEE Main rank - Candidates who score good rank in JEE Main exam are preferred in the selection procedure of MMU Ambala and the prospects of candidates increases.
4. Personal Interview (PI) – PI is a compulsory hurdle before students can be admitted. It is among the factors taken into consideration during the selection process along with the above stipulated factors. If one performs well in PI then he or she has higher chances of being selected by the institute.
