Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) is a private university of Noida that provides undergraduate degrees in engineering, computer applications, business and commerce, humanities and arts and others. The eligibility requirements are slightly different depending on the department they are applied in. For the BTech programs the candidates should have completed 12th or equivalent exam in the relevant field with minimum 60% of marks and have qualified JEE Main exam for the disciplines such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. For BCA and BBA, candidates who have passed the 12th standard from any stream with minimum 50% marks are considered eligible to apply. There are various BA honors course such as Economics, Psychology, English etc where candidates even without 12th pass are not required to have any minimum percentage of marks. For the admission to B.Tech program, the applicant need to qualify JEE Main examination, whereas for the BCA/BBA/BA there is no entrance examination required.

The prerequisites for admission to the PhD include having a Master’s degree in the respective field from a recognized University with not less than 60% for ordinary and 70% for honors students or a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
